So it seems.

So it seems I have yet again set myself up for some dismal failures.  That's ok. I'm used to it. I guess.  Maybe I should be of the mindset I am not going to diet and then I will have some success's at this diet game.

I did talk my hubby into going to Planet X, its only $10.00 a month plus sign on fee.  You can stop anytime and not pay.  Right up those New Year's resolutions Ally's.  As for doing some thing here at the house I really can't unless the Little's are sleeping because they like to be in the mix and sometimes there is just not enough room.  Going out for a walk right now is not good since the pollen count is crazy high any my poor nose and asthma has been crazy.

So maybe just maybe I trick my addled brain into thinking I am not on a diet, and I will lose something and keep it off.  I have to start somewhere and here is good as any,

Such is life

Gosh I can't believe I have failed at this yet again.  Well in all honest truth yes I can.  Life gets busy but I am lazy.  No I am not down on myself I am just stating a pure fact.

I have started watching what goes in my mouth yet again and the reason.  I took a picture with my son at a school event and was just plain out horrified at what I saw.  I went to a Praise and Coffee event and was stunned at my pictures with me in them at just how big I am.  Its amazing I do look in the mirror every day several times a day and saw myself but didn't really see my myself anyone know what I mean by that.

I am going to go and blow that picture up and tape it to the fridge so am reminded of just how big I have gotten, but on the flip side I can see a precious pic of my son and I. 

I have a nice Breville Juice fountain and I used it for the first time this morning and its great!  I did not like the combo I used which had kale in it and it made my Green Juice bitter I had to add some sweetener to it.  I think if I change it up some it may be more palatable and enjoyable for me.  I also had a nana and coffee to round out the morning.  I think I may make a Green smoothie for lunch to "Fill" me up.

I do have a step box and a workout DVD that I am gonna try out today.  I also bought the Zumba for the Wii and need to crack that open and get cracking.  I found out this week that there is a Submarine Ball in April and I would like to fit into the dress I had from last year I just hope I don't drop too much and it not fit loose wise wouldn't that be a hoot tho.

What a day. What a day.

I was so VERY tired today.  Most likely because the migrain meds I took a few times yesterday. I just dragged hard.  I even had 2 cups of coffee today and thats almost unheard of.

I have choosen not to start the Insanity program till monday since my week has been icky so far on the diet front.  I did good most of the day and ended it with a huge Philly cheese steak sammie and cheese fries. So I had most of my calories for dinner. BLECH...

I think I will do the dance wii tomorrow to make a small dent in my week atleast.

My hubby is trying to kill me.

My dear hubby is trying to kill me.  He has gotten it into his head he wants to do the Insanity program and wants me to do it with him.  I have no choice by to comply.  I can't say it is a bad idea, but I am so out of shape and I refuse to go out and workout in public. So this is it. Tonight is the first night so tomorrow I may tell you a tale of woe is me LOL.

This morning I started my day with a Green Guru Smoothie:
Kris Carr’s Green Smoothie
Makes enough for 2 people. You can adjust the recipe accordingly. My taste buds are different than yours so don’t be afraid to play!
-1 Avocado
-1-2 pieces of low glycemic fruit: we love green apple, pear, berries & cantaloupe
-1 Cucumber
-A bit of kale or romaine or spinach
-Coconut water (or purified water)
-Stevia to taste
*You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon and some cacao.
*You can also use coconut meat or almond butter or nut milk in place of avocado

Make sure you use your blender and use the puree or liquefy button.  Don't be in a rush or you will have some chunks. I liquefy for a minute and then blend for a minute and its great.  I also add some extra liquid as I don't like things so THICK.

I have also changed things up by adding a fist full of spinach, an apple, some lime juice. skipping the avocado at lunch time.  This stuff gives me a big time boost.  I even stopped drinking coffee.

My start weight is 209 so we shall see.  I will start weigh in Mondays.  The rest of the week will tell the tale of my little journey to better health.
